We have such a fantastic team of people that work behind the scenes. We work along side Summer Ellis to design, create, and sell incredibly unique jewelry. Everyone on our team is so creative, flexible, and enthusiastic. We all have our different roles on the team whether it be crafting the jewelry or marketing it to new stores across the country.
I have to say, I love our team!
Here’s a little interview with all of us:
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Summer: Play with my daughter!
Charis: Any of these four R's: Run, Rock Climb, Ride Horses, & Read a Good Book. (All with the hubby, Kyle, of course.)
Carolynn: anything creative. being outside. spending time with friends. a good cup of coffee. worship music. painting.
Laura: I'm in a new phase of re-arranging, re-decorating, re-styling everything. I collect ideas from blogs and websites and try to take time to be creative.
Stefany: I love to go see movies.
Cheridan: I like to climb buildings and practice my ninja kicks.
Describe your personal style.
Summer: Artsy, classic and ALWAYS comfortable. You'll never see me in heels! Ha.
Charis: I guess it's sort of an eclectic mix of Laid-back Bohemian and a little bit Prissy at the same time.
Carolynn: unique. semi-simple and elegant with twists of artsy mis-matched chaos. unpredictable.
Laura: My style even though it's harder to describe with word and easier to express with clothes is funky world market meets Audry Hepburn.
Stefany: Some days I wanna be a total rock star and some days I want to be girly. And some days I mix the two.
Cheridan: Let’s just put is this way, I always wear my heels to HEB.
Name one goal you want to accomplish in the next 10 years.
Summer: I want to write a cook book and a children's book.
Charis: Summit Mount Kilimanjaro.
Carolynn: Love Jesus more each day. See the church change the world.
Laura: Make a perfect yellow cake and frosting. And learn Arabic.
Stefany: I want to have a successful career that takes me all over the world.
Cheridan: Marry an astronaut so my honeymoon can be… on the moon.
What is your favorite thing about working for Summer Ellis?
Summer: I've wanted to own my own business since I was 10.
Charis: Beauty is inspiring. It really is. And Summer's kind of beauty (her jewelry) makes you happy just to be a girl. Plus, it's rewarding to work for a friend that I admire so much.
Carolynn: LOVE the vision, the people, the jewelry, the environment and the beauty.
Laura: I truly get to learn so much about business creativity, style, fashion, and all done with impossible grace that's modeled for us by Summer.
Stefany: I love working together with the team as we create and discover style and business. It's a learning process. It's exciting.
Cheridan: Getting to watch my adorable niece, Hazel.
What is your favorite piece of Summer Ellis Jewelry?
Summer: The white kashi flutter earrings from the ready-to-wear collection.
Charis: My first piece of Summer Ellis jewelry is still my favorite: A pair of black onyx earrings with gold overlay that I bought for a ball. So elegant. :)
Carolynn: the Winter bud earrings from the Ready to Wear line.
Laura: I love the citrine earrings with gold hoops from the Ready to Wear line. I think I wear them every other day! They are so beautiful.
Stefany: The black carved rose necklace in the case at 201 Collective.
Cheridan: I love it all!
